Your Invisalign clear braces provider in Greensborough
Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment that gradually straightens teeth using a series of nearly invisible clear plastic aligners.
Over 14 million people worldwide have used Invisalign clear braces to transform their smiles. Join patients from Watsonia, Eltham, Bundoora, Yallambie and surrounding suburbs in having straight teeth and a beautiful smile, from the comfort and convenience of our Greensborough dental practice.

What is Invisalign?
Invisalign straightens teeth without the need for traditional metal braces. Instead, this orthodontic system uses a series of removable, personalised clear plastic aligner trays to gradually move your teeth.
The clear plastic braces are nearly invisible, so they’re an excellent choice for patients who want a discreet option for their orthodontic treatment.
Invisalign clear aligners are also removable, making brushing your teeth easy and allowing you to eat the foods you enjoy.
Why might I need Invisalign?
Our trained dentists will assess your teeth, mouth, jaw and bite. You may need Invisalign treatment if we need to correct several conditions:
- Gap Teeth
- Crowded teeth
- Open Bite
- Overbite
- Underbite
- Crossbite.

The Invisalign treatment process

Step 1: Initial consultation
Any Invisalign treatment at our Greensborough dental clinic begins with an assessment. You’ll see one of our dentists with additional orthodontic training, who’ll examine your teeth, gums, mouth and bite.
We’ll take photographs, X-rays and digital scans. Along with our examination, these images will help us determine if you’re suitable for this treatment.

Step 2: Assessment & 3D imaging
If we assess you as suitable, we’ll customise a treatment plan for you. The plan will also include a 3D-generated image of how your teeth should look after the treatment.
We send the images, X-rays and digital scans to Invisalign, where a personalised set of unique aligners is created just for you.

Step 3: Receive your Invisalign clear braces
When we receive your series of Invisalign clear braces, we’ll make an appointment for you to visit our Greensborough dental clinic. At this time, we’ll guide you to putting your trays in properly, give you final advice and instructions, and schedule regular check-ups every 4-6 weeks.

Step 4: Regular check-ups & new aligners
At your scheduled check-ups, we’ll monitor the progress of your treatment. We’ll also supply you with your next set of clear plastic aligners at these appointments.
The end of a treatment course results in straight, aligned teeth and a confident smile you’ll want to show off to everyone.
The benefits of Invisalign
Nearly invisible
Clear plastic braces are nearly invisible, so they discreetly straighten your teeth. Unless people look very closely, they won’t even be able to see you’re wearing them.
Removable
When eating, you can briefly remove your aligners, so you don’t have to worry about getting food stuck in the aligner trays. You will also need to take them out when brushing, and we advise you to wear your aligners for 22 hours a day.
Comfort
Because the Invisalign clear braces are plastic, they won’t graze the cheek area and cause ulcers like traditional metal braces can. When your braces are plastic, there’s no chance of broken metal wires.
Gradual and gentle changes
The Invisalign clear plastic trays apply a gentle and constant force to your teeth, so you will minimal discomfort as your teeth move to their new position.
Improved teeth function
You may find you’re chewing more efficiently after an Invisalign course, as the braces can correct many dental issues at once.
Easy to clean & maintain
Traditional metal braces can be tricky to keep clean, with the wires and brackets needing attention. With Invisalign, it’s as simple as brushing your aligner trays with toothpaste, rinsing them in warm water, and placing them back into your mouth.
Saving you time
With regularly-scheduled appointments at our Greensborough dental clinic every 4-6 weeks, you’ll have more time to spend on the activities you love doing. Other orthodontic treatments need more frequent check-up appointments.
Treatment for all ages
Invisalign is suitable for children, teenagers and adults. We’ll examine each case individually for children and teens and determine the best time to start a treatment course.
Types of Invisalign treatment options
We will explain the full range of treatment options and suggest the best one for you or your child.
Invisalign Full
This comprehensive course of clear aligners for teenagers and adults takes 18-24 months to correct complex orthodontic presentations.
Invisalign Lite
When patients only need minor orthodontic treatment, to remedy slight overcrowding or small gaps between teeth, this option provides results in 6 months.
Invisalign Express (Invisalign i7)
If your orthodontic solution only needs changes to the six front teeth, this solution is for you, with quick results in as little as three months.
Invisalign First
The Invisalign treatment designed specifically for children, tweens and teens, providing early intervention to reduce the likelihood of future orthodontic problems.
How much does Invisalign clear braces cost?
Because every patient has unique needs and complexities, there is no one price for a course of Invisalign treatment at our Greensborough dental clinic.
At your initial consultation, we will provide you with an estimate of the treatment cost, tailored to your specific case.
If you have private health insurance with eligible dental extras, you may be able to claim a rebate against some of the Invisalign cost.
